AerobicsYour heart, like any other muscle in your body, gets stronger with regular exercise. The right kind of exercise increases cardiovascular fitness by improving blood circulation throughout your body. Cardiovascular fitness allows you to exercise vigorously for long periods of time with less tiring.

Exercise that promotes cardiovascular fitness improves your body’s circulation to help your heart, lungs and other organs work together more efficiently. Cardiovascular fitness also helps you meet physical and emotional demands more readily.

Cardiovascular fitness may help reduce the risk of heart disease. A strong heart does not have to work as hard to circulate the blood through the body because it can pump more efficiently with each beat. It’s impossible to prove you will live longer or never have a heart attack if you’re in good physical condition. But cardiovascular fitness helps you feel better and can improve the quality of your life.

Class Descriptions - 2008 Schedule

Hard CORE Abs- 15 minutes of ab and core training. Use slow, controlled movements in these intense and very effective abdominal, low back and glut exercises. This ½ hour class is FREE to any member anytime it is offered. Stability ball, exercise mat and weights may be used.

Body Sculpt- A total body workout with weights. This class will help improve your functional strength and increase muscle tone.

Spinning- The Johnny G. spinning program simulates outdoor cycling on a specially designed fully adjustable stationary bike. By increasing or decreasing the resistance on your bike you will experience flat roads, hills, steep climbs and much more. Please arrive 5 min. early for proper bike set-up. We cannot allow any participant to enter once class begins. A towel and water bottle are required. Lightweight workout clothing, and stiff-soled athletic shoes are recommended. All bikes are equipped with SPD compatible pedals.

*Endurance Ride- This class builds and improves your endurance and stamina. Most work is done in the saddle. Heart Rate Zone 65-80%.

**Interval Ride- This class will consist of HIGH Intensity aerobic and anaerobic interval and sprint drills. Heart Rate Zone 75-92%.

Step-n-Sculpt- Geared towards all fitness levels, step aerobics involves high intensity and low impact moves. It provides cardiovascular conditioning while stepping onto 6-12 inch platform. A conditioning segment for the upper body and abdominal area is included towards the end of the hour.

Strength & Balance- Gain Strength and confidence using dumbbells and your own body weight in these exercises that can benefit everyone. Strength and balance are used almost non-stop in our daily lives. You will practice traditional weight training moves combined with “tougher than it looks” balance exercises to make an effective core training workout. Stability ball, weights and step bench may be used.

Total Body Conditioning- Class will begin with a cardiovascular segment of stepping, kickboxing, or High-low followed by a total body shaping workout. Incorporates basic moves to accommodate beginners as well as advanced participants.

20-Class Package - $2.25 a class multiplied by 20 classes = $45.00 
30-Day Unlimited Class Package - $2.16 a class and you and your Family members could potentially Participate in 90 classes for $65.00 a month.
10 & 20 Class packages valid for one full year from purchase date! One card may be shared by family members!
